The Doris Duke Collection of American Indian Oral Histories provides access to typescripts and recordings of interviews (1967-1972) conducted with hundreds of Native people in Oklahoma regarding the cultures of their respective nations and tribes. Related are accounts of community life, history, philosophies, ceremonies, changing use of Native languages, and standards of living.
